Tampere’s Elias Viljanen is a Finnish guitar hero blessed with Concorde-fast fingers. Viljanen has association with Depravity, Mess, Sigillum Diaboli, E.vil and Black Metal combo Astral. His recording and live band, dubbed Evil Spirit, comprises guitarist Jukka Talasmäki, guitarist / keyboard player Jari Koivisto, Recall bassist Rami Herckman with Tomi Ylönen of Recall, Roundsun and Snowblind on drums.

Debut album, 2002’s ‘Taking The Lead’ issued through Finnish label Lion Music’, was recorded at Phantom Studios in Tampere. The August 2005 album, ‘The Leadstar’, included guest players fellow guitarist Lars Eric Mattson, Jani Kemppinen on keyboards, Jaan Wessman on bass and Janne Juutinen of Masterstroke and Lacu Lahtinen of Snakegod and Hanoi Rocks on the drums. Oddly this record included a cover version of Lionel Richie’s Pop ballad ‘Hello’.

In mid-2007 he joined Sonata Arctica, replacing Jani Liimatainen on guitar.

I just stumbled across these on Youtube whilst looking for some demo stuff from Tyr and Norther.
 
Northern Sword is an American symphonic metal band. The band seamlessly creates a sound reminiscent of current Scandinavian metal, combining elements of power, folk, and death metal. Northern Sword’s lyrical themes are based upon Norse mythology and Viking lore. The band is currently in the process writing their debut album, Valhalla Bound.

Charles Hardin “Buddy” Holley (September 7, 1936 – February 3, 1959) was an american singer-songwriter and a pioneer of rock and roll. The change of spelling of “Holley” to “Holly” came about because of an error in a contract he was asked to sign, listing him as Buddy Holly. That spelling was then adopted for his professional career.
 
Although his success lasted only a year and a half before his death in an airplane crash, Holly is described by critic Bruce Eder as “the single most influential creative force in early rock and roll.
